THE SAFE SEED PLEDGE

The Safe Seed Pledge was created in 1999 by the Council for Responsible Genetics, The Seed Savers Exchange and several seed companies as a voluntary choice for any seed company that was concerned about the safety and genetically stability of seeds for future generations.  Since it was created, more than 100 seed companies (Oatsplanter included) have signed a pledge to NOT buy, sell or trade genetically engineered seeds or plants.

Oatsplanter and 51 other farmers in Jefferson County have also signed the safe seed pledge to keep genetically engineered seed from trespassing into our agriculture landscape  read more
